this game is incredible. i scrolled over it multiple times because i didnt think the turn based combat would make it fun, i am happily proven wrong though. even with the turn based combat its still very fast paced
Really nice game! Played for hours and can't wait for the full release. System is great as well as strategies. I do have some suggestion though, is that projectiles 5/6 dmg + double strike is kind of too OP as they're basically infinite combos. Maybe add restrictions like need to kill 3rd target to instantly cooldown DS weapon should be better. Anyways, it is well-designed, I'm looking forward to see how the story will go on in full version!!
I played the prologue version on Steam and there the cooldown reset on combo is a perk that must be bought. I dont know if it solves that issue, but its a lot better already. It also just resets the cooldown of the last comboing weapon instead of all.
my favorite little combination is just to spam war fan, arrow then smoke bomb, especially if any of those are upgraded with extra damage! i even had a war fan with 3 cooldown that did 3 damage
as long as there is a tile behind the enemy(or enemies) you can dash through as many packed together as you want by double tapping the direction you want to phase (Your character needs to face that direction)

idk if its just me but the screen isn't filled all the way to the top, it's only an issue in the start menu but the background and other stuff like the title is only filled 3 quarters, the top quarter is just filled with black

I found Sho, but no guns yet, 4/5 would recommend trying before your life ends.

Probably not what you're looking for, but try comboing the trap with the grapple, as it one shots all enemies. (except bosses)

For some reason when the final boss hit me with a freeze I wasn't able to do anything including wait to the game isn't progressing
This would make a great iOS/iPad game. Hope this might be considered in the future.

How do you unlock all the characters? Also for the 3rd boss, Just place traps with double hit wait till he swaps and you good.
You need to go onto the places marked with question marks on the map and then go over to whichever character you need to unlock next!
